Title
Welcoming shouts of the natives
Short description
Georg Forster recounts what his father told him about the afternoon excursion to the island.
Text on source
At the landing-place the natives welcomed us with shouts as in the morning, and the croud being as numerous as ever, the trade was carried on very briskly, but provisions were scarce, and shaddocks in particular not at all to be had, as the season was not yet sufficiently advanced.
