Title
A musket fired from the Resolution
Short description
Georg Forster describes a moment of tension between the natives and the crew: Captain Cook is forced to fire a shot.
Text on source
We heard a musket fired off the instant after, and repairing on deck, saw the native who had received some small shot, very deliberately laying by his arrow, which was only pointed with wood, and selecting one of those which we believed to be poisoned.
