Mentr'essa così parlava, ed io stava per farle alcune osservazioni su quanto n'aveva narrato, si udì al di fuori della stanza rimbombare una voce che gridava l'Akim, l'Akim. Era la Kiaja che con la voce e col battere parla a palma le mani avvertita che il medico entrava nell'harem.
