I Gniam-gniam gettarono a terra le loro armi si misero a danzare, indi chiesero ai forestieri cosa volevano, fecero intendere che cercavano avorio e ne diedero per frivolezze quanto ne vollero, poiché questa tribù essendo eminente artista sopra le altre si forma delle trombe coi più grandi denti che trovano.
