English translation
We stayed forty days in that place, and the salah (ṣalā) of the Pilgrimage festival took place there. For that, we went to the open square of the village and came together with the Muslims who joined us. We performed the salah while [the Ethiopian Christians] were looking at us, astonished at what we were doing, as we were astonished at their doings.
