Ne' grandi di sepolcri feci battere alcuni vigorosi colpi di martello nella roccia o nel muro di sostegno per discernere dal suono se ci fosse stato qualche voto nascosto. Un giorno i colpi di martello risonarono come battendo sopra un cavo, ed aprirono un foro largo un piede e mezzo, che metteva in un'altra tomba.
